FAQ
What people actually ask us.
The real questions before you let an AI answer your phone. Straight answers.
Price & commitment
What does it cost?
From $149 a month. Essentiel $149, Affaires $299, in Canadian dollars; Performance and Volume are coming soon. Move up or down whenever you want.
Do I have to sign a contract?
No. Every plan is month-to-month. Switch plans or stop any time, no penalty.
Can I try it out first?
Yes, twice. Enter your number on the site and she calls you, so you hear the voice yourself. Then Essentiel comes with a 7-day trial and 30 minutes included.
Do I pay a setup fee?
Zero. Setup is part of your monthly plan. She should earn you money before she costs you any.
What if I run out of minutes?
She still answers. Extra minutes are billed at your plan’s rate: $0.45 a minute on Essentiel, $0.40 on Affaires. If it happens a lot, the next plan up is usually cheaper.
Getting started
How long does it take to start?
Same day, if you want. She drafts her own setup from your website, you read it over, grab your number and forward your calls. Picking the voice takes the longest.
How does it work?
Like a real call. Your customer talks, she listens with more than one engine, decides what to do from your instructions, and answers in the voice you picked.
Do I get to keep my number?
You keep it. Forward your calls to your VoiceX line, two minutes with your carrier. Your customers dial the same number as before.
Can she answer just in the evening?
Your call. Forward everything, only missed calls, or just after hours: it’s a code you dial. Our free tool gives you your carrier’s codes.
Do I need to be techy?
Not one bit. She sets herself up from your website and you adjust in plain words. Holiday hours? Change them in your portal.
How does she learn my business?
From your website. Give her your web address, your hours, your services. She drafts her setup, you fix what’s off, you’re live.
The voice & the call
Does it sound robotic?
Judge for yourself. Enter your number on the site and the demo calls you. The doubt is gone at the first hello.
Will callers know it’s AI?
Some will, some won’t. If you’d rather be upfront, she introduces herself as a virtual assistant from the first line. You decide.
Does she speak French and English?
Yes, in the same call. Your customer switches languages, she follows. No "press 9".
Will she understand my callers?
Yes, even the fast talkers. Every line goes through more than one engine. If a word that matters is unclear, she asks instead of guessing.
Can I change the voice?
Yes. Pick the voice, the greeting, the tone and the questions to ask. All of it changes in your portal, any time.
Does she know my trade’s words?
The ones you give her, yes. She learns them from your website and whatever you add in your portal: services, products, prices. What she doesn’t know, she doesn’t make up.
What she does
What if she doesn’t know?
She doesn’t make it up. She takes a full message, offers a callback or transfers to your team. She never improvises your prices.
What if a caller wants a human?
She transfers. To your cell, the front desk or a colleague, as soon as they ask. If nobody picks up, she takes a message and you get it by text.
Does she recognize regulars?
Yes, politely. She first checks who she’s talking to. Right person: she picks up where they left off. Otherwise she starts fresh.
Does she book appointments?
Yes, straight into your calendar. Appointments land in your Google Calendar, and your customer gets a text confirmation, then a reminder the day before.
Can she take a message for me?
Yes, a good one. Who called, the number to call back, and why. You get it right away.
Can she transfer to the right person?
Yes, by your rules. She figures out why they’re calling and transfers to the right person. If everyone’s busy, she takes a message.
Does she call out too?
Your customers, yes. From Affaires up: confirmations, reminders, follow-ups. Never cold calls.
Does it connect to my CRM?
Not yet. Google Calendar, texts and transfers come with every plan. CRMs arrive with Performance, coming soon: tell us which one you use.
Does she really pick up 24/7?
Really. Evenings, weekends, holidays. 3 a.m. or noon, no extra charge.
Is it like an answering service?
Better, for most calls. She books and transfers during the call instead of just taking a message. The delicate ones, she hands to you.
Your data
Where does my data go?
Montréal. Recordings and transcripts are hosted in Canada, on our Montréal servers. No resale, no brokers.
Who can see my calls?
You, first. You and your team, in your portal. On our side, only the technical staff who need it to run the service.
What about Law 25?
Your call data stays in Montréal. Law 25 is Québec’s privacy law, and a phone call is personal information. Keeping it here gives you a clear answer.
After launch
Can I change her later?
Any time. A new service, a price change, holiday hours: change it in your portal and the next call already knows.
Can I see every call she takes?
All of them. Every call is in your portal with the recording and the transcript. Messages come to you by text, plus an email when a call needs you.
What if it goes down?
Your caller isn’t left hanging. If the main voice fails, a backup voice takes over. If everything’s down, your caller hears a message asking them to call back, and our status page is public.
Best way to judge: hear her.
